Recently, Apple has published a bunch of <em>Stories (their name for a collection of related apps) that feature<\/em>\u00a0exciting and semi-useful apps for mobile media makers. Here&#8217;s a quick sampling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/story\/id1265235746\">&#8220;Shoot it Short and Funky&#8221;<\/a> features 7 unique video camera apps.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/story\/id1465160581\">&#8220;Start a Summer Video Project&#8221;<\/a> contains 9 apps for shooting &amp; post-work.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/story\/id1411084714\">&#8220;Apps for Stage Actors&#8221;<\/a> (also applies to film actors) has 10 excellent tools for a script reading, rehearsing, annotating, and blocking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And here&#8217;s another from the past:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/story\/id1349435845\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;From Script to Screen&#8221;<\/a> contains features 12 apps covering the three main stages of production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sure, some of the apps lean towards the sillier side, but even the silliest app can spark inspiration!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is it just me or has the App Store been especially friendly to filmmakers lately?
