While most of the tweaks may appear to be cosmetic, we&#8217;ve made HUGE changes under the hood which should make updating the site, and adding new features significantly easier.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a quick sampling of some of the changes we&#8217;ve already made:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve totally replaced the outdated comment system with <a title=\"Livefyre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.livefyre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Livefyre<\/a>. You can log-in using any social network, and tag your filmmaking friends. \u00a0Comments from the old site are currently being ported over, so nothing will be lost.<\/li>\n<li>Sharing HHH has become a little easier thanks to the <em>Share<\/em>\u00a0buttons that will now appear below each post.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve replaced the old discussion area with new feature-rich <a title=\"Filmmaker Forums\" href=\"https:\/\/handheldhollywood.com\/forums\">filmmaker forums<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Posts are now properly tagged for easy filtering. You&#8217;ll find the new tag cloud in the sidebar.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve set up a system that will allow us to host app giveaways!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re also working on importing all the old comments, and re-coding the App Directory (coming soon).<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the new site, and feel free to share any thoughts or suggestions!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome (back) to Hand Held Hollywood.
