We just got the word that the San Francisco SuperMeet is being streamed live over the intertubes starting at around 6:45pm tonight! Neat!

The only bad news is you won’t be able to partake in the INSANE raffle. You’ve got to be at the show to enter. There’s over $47,000 worth of goodies being given away. it’s Freakin’ nutty. I REALLY hope I’m eligible to enter.  I want a piece of that craziness.  UPDATE:  I AM! (raffle tickets in hand)

The show kicks off at 7pm-ish.  I’ve got no idea when I’m going up to speak, but I THINK it’s before the 8:30pm intermission.

I enjoyed reading this brief ScreenRant story, so I thought I’d share it here. It describes how Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, was forced to direct an important scene via his iPhone while in the hospital for the birth of his child! Sadly, it doesn’t divulge the details of that unusual workflow, but it’s an excellent reminder that we’re all toting the world’s most versatile piece of filmmaking gear in our pockets and purses!
